Maturity date is 90 days for dried, 70 days for roasting. This variety dates back to the late 1800s and has stayed unchanged. These will grow 10 to 12 feet on average, but 14 feet is not unheard of. The ears are huge! With 1 or 2 stalks, these are great for roasting and originally used for hominy. They will make a wonderful fall display or addition to a corn maze. And let's not forget the coolness factory about having 12 foot corn stalks! Happy growing!!!
