Hungarian Yellow Wax Hot Pepper

The Hungarian Yellow Wax Hot pepper is also called a wax pepper. It's available in bulk Heirloom seed as well as packs. It will give you loads of bright yellow hot peppers that you will picking clear into Fall. We recommend starting about six weeks before you plant outside. And if extra early, use frost protection. So if you want a medium hot, all Heirloom, Non-GMO garden seed pepper, this is a great choice. The Hungarian Yellow Wax Hot pepper is a low to medium heat pepper with tons of flavor. These will grow about 2 to 3 feet high and bushy in the right conditions. As with all peppers, these are not frost tolerant and will require fertile ground. A good organic fertilizer will do great as a container plant or in a raised bed.

Here is a guideline for how much bulk Heirloom seed to order: If you have a smaller garden, one pack is plenty. Our pepper seed packs are for bigger homestead gardens and for those who do canning.
