The Italian Oregano is an Heirloom garden seed. This is a very popular herb that is best fresh. If you dry it fresh from your garden, then you will have a very high quality, dried herb. Oregano likes to be neglected in the garden; just cut the very tops off regularly to promote more leaf growth. Start your plants indoors in trays at least 8 weeks before planting, then transplant. Place about a foot apart. For our farmers market friends, plant some indoors about 12 weeks before the last frost so you will have fresh leaves for your first market. Our packs have a lot of seeds--about 1 gram. That's a lot of seeds! Italian Oregano seeds are very tiny. Happy growing!!!
