black Aztec corn is a very rare and old variety that's very hard to find. And open pollinated non GMO variety that dates back 100s of years the kernels themselves are a very deep dark blue to a black in color will make a very nice corn meal
This variety is very hardy here in zone 6 we planted this mid May. We had a late frost June 7. The corn stalks stood tall and kept on growing will do very well in low imput conditions and will grow just about anywhere in the USA.
We hand shuck this variety so only the better kernals go into our seed.
The Black Aztec corn is far and away, one of our most popular items. People can't seem to get enough of it.
