Grow the Long Green Improved as you would any cucumber. As with all cucumbers, they do not like to transplanted so be very gentle with their roots. These are main season vegetables and are not cold tolerant. Also will make great hanging pots. We carry packs as well as bulk garden seed. The Long Green Improved cucumber seed is one of the most productive of all the Heirloom slicer cucumbers. They won't get bitter--maybe one out of one hundred will be bitter at the ends when it's left on the vines too long. To our farmers market friends, these will make a solid choice for your normal cucumbers. Since they are smooth, they will make great munchers if picked when small. As with all our seeds, these are Non-GMO and open- pollinated. The Long Green Improved cucumber will grow smooth and be a nice green, dark green color about six to ten inches. Perfect for round slices and pickle chips! Happy growing!!!
