The Snake Gourd takes around 100 days to mature for all the northern gardeners; we recommend transplanting. These grow long and curled and look like a snake. They will dry hard and make a really nice craft that can be painted. The Heirloom Snake Gourd can be eaten like a summer squash at its early stages. However you use it, the Snake Gourd is a great addition to any garden line up! Happy growing!!!
