Wando Pea

The Wando Pea takes 45 to 60 days to mature. This variety is a shelling variety.  Wow, nothing like fresh peas from the garden! You can start these early as they are cold tolerant. The Wando is a old Heirloom variety, tried and true. You will get loads of peas, and most pods have four to six peas. Make sure you give them something to climb on; you will want to space them about two or three inches apart and let them grow. A good rule of thumb is one pound of seed for every twenty feet in a row will give you at least a five gallon bucket--maybe more if you have good soil.    Order some Heirloom garden seeds today!
