The Zebrune Shallot takes about 100 days to mature. An Heirloom from Europe, a direct translation means "leg of chicken." It's also called the "banana shallot" because of its shape. This is a very flavorful but not over bearing shallot. It will grow well in any zone in the USA except for very high above the timberline homesteads. However, it will grow in the northern areas no problem. Happy growing!!!
